Fire detection and alarm systems
Fire Detection Systems
Fire detection systems contain fire detection and warning equipment with the help of signals from smoke detectors, temperature detectors and manual fire warning buttons.
EL-CON can provide an integrated security system that involves the installation of a state-of-the-art fire detection technique as well as the design and installation, which are carried out by our engineers from the technical department.
Fire detection technical solutions offered by EL-CON:
- Addressable or conventional fire detection centers;
- Optical smoke detectors, with ionization, with infrared reflective spot, infrared barrier type, by suction;
- Temperature, carbon monoxide, flame, hazardous substance detectors;
- Addressable modules, repertoires and emulators, loop isolators, electromagnets and accumulator blocking elements;
- Sirens and optical signaling indicators, panic buttons.
The main component of a fire detection system is the fire control panel. You can opt for one of the two existing types of conventional or addressable control panel. The difference between the two being the method of connecting the detectors, their number, reading and interpreting the information.
Conventional control panel: monitors status signals from smoke detectors, temperature, manual fire warning buttons or status change reporting. The smoke detectors are connected to the entrances of the plant, defined as zones, and are correlated with the zoning of the objective. This type of boiler is used when the number of smoke detectors is small.
Addressable central: the main advantage is the ease of wiring and the easy identification of alarms. Through the addressable modules, conventional detectors or other types of fire detectors (gas, carbon monoxide, etc.) can be connected to the central unit. Each detector has an address and is connected on a loop. This type of power plant is recommended for medium and large targets.
